Job Objective:
To prepare and develop technical and financial proposals for maintenance and operation projects in alignment with tender requirements, ensuring compliance with all technical specifications and conditions set by the beneficiaries.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Preparation of Technical Proposals
Thoroughly review tender documents and terms of reference (RFP).
Design and present technical solutions aligned with project requirements.
Coordinate with engineering teams to prepare work schedules and technical specifications.
Develop the necessary drawings and diagrams to support the technical proposal.
Preparation of Financial Proposals:
Analyze detailed project costs based on work requirements.
Prepare pricing schedules in accordance with market standards and client requirements.
Review financial proposals to ensure accurate calculations and mitigate financial risks.
Coordination Between Departments
Collaborate closely with the Procurement Department to obtain the best quotes from suppliers.
Work with the Contracts and Legal team to ensure proposals align with contractual requirements.
Data Analysis and Project Evaluation:
Provide analytical reports on competitors and market projects.
Assess project risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
Client Communication:
Present technical and financial proposals to clients professionally.
Respond to client inquiries and implement necessary modifications to proposals.
Continuous Development:
Stay updated on the latest technological advancements and innovations in maintenance and operations.
Enhance proposal preparation methodologies to ensure high quality and greater competitiveness.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or equivalent).
Experience:
A minimum of 5 years of practical experience in preparing technical and financial proposals for maintenance and operation projects.
Proven experience in handling government and private tenders.
.Technical Skills:
Proficiency in engineering design software such as AutoCAD and Revit.
Solid knowledge of project management tools like MS Project or Primavera.
Expertise in Excel and Word for data analysis and document preparation.
Personal Skills:
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Languages:
Proficiency in Arabic and English, both spoken and written.
Work Environment:
Office-based work with occasional field visits as needed.
