Job Title: Traffic Studies Engineer
Job Description:
Responsible for executing and preparing specialized traffic studies, including the collection and analysis of traffic data, preparing technical reports, and designing effective traffic solutions that contribute to improving traffic flow and enhancing road safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Collect and analyze traffic data for road networks using technical methods and approved standards.
Prepare traffic study reports, including:
Traffic Impact Assessments (TIA)
Traffic Safety Studies (TIS)
Review and approve traffic studies in coordination with relevant entities such as municipalities, regulatory authorities, and planning departments.
Prepare engineering designs for road networks and intersections to improve traffic efficiency and reduce congestion.
Coordinate with engineering teams and relevant stakeholders to ensure alignment of studies with urban development plans and transport networks.
Use specialized engineering software for traffic simulation and data analysis (such as SIDRA, SYNCHRO, VISSIM, and others).
:Experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in traffic studies and road network design.
Strong knowledge of local and international standards and specifications in the field of transportation and traffic.
Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in preparing technical reports and detailed drawings.
Proficiency in using traffic design and analysis software.
